Dr. Hooy Kok Wai is a second-generation Singaporean Chinese who resolutely returned to China in 1994 to actively immerse himself in national development and industrial advancement. He co-founded Perfect (China) Co., Ltd. As the co-founder and vice chairman of Perfect (China), Dr. Hooy leveraged his international strategic vision and mature operational philosophy to lead the enterprise to grow into a leader in the domestic direct selling industry, contributing tens of billions of yuan in cumulative tax revenue to the country and continuously dedicating strength to domestic economic and social development.

Driven by a shared vision with his dream partner, Mr. Zhong Xueyong, Dr. Hooy co-founded China Wantian Holdings (1854.HK) with the aspiration to build a solid foundation for a better life for the people of the Greater Bay Area, successfully listing the company in Hong Kong in 2021.

Dr. Hooy and Mr. Zhong spearheaded the establishment of the Greater Bay Area Association of Listed Companies. Featuring 30 specialized committees, the association brings together more than 400 listed companies across Hong Kong, A-share, and U.S. stock markets, top-tier entrepreneurs, and professionals, dedicating itself to building the premier platform for the high-quality development of listed companies in the Greater Bay Area.

Over the years, Dr. Hooy has practiced philanthropy away from the spotlight, actively supporting and inspiring hundreds of thousands of people to participate in voluntary blood donations to let the light of life bloom. In 2022, by virtue of his outstanding contributions to society, Dr. Hooy was honored with the 17th World Outstanding Chinese Award, a well-deserved recognition that met with widespread praise.
